BS7121 – Safe Use of Cranes – notes these risks and highlights the need to protect against their consequences through appropriate comprehensive insurance cover. This factor is now considered by many customers to be as important as the specification of equipment.
We at WB Services (UK) Limited Limited have a comprehensive insurance package.
The customer is responsible on CPA Crane Hire only for:-
- Accidental damage to crane on hire to the full replacement value.
- Loss of hire charges as a result of loss or damage to the crane.
- Cover in respect of goods being lifted.
- Public Liability indemnity to £2,000,000 in respect of the hire and operation of the crane.
- Employers Liability risks of WB Services employees.
- Ground conditions.
- We can waive these requirements for you to arrange appropriate insurance cover and rely on our own package subject to an increase in the hire rate.
